I bought my first "Snood" yesterday! I tell ya there is a lot to learn about winter weather clothing! Who knew there was life beyond flip flops and sunscreen? Not me, I was certain I was hip just knowing what a sarong was...
I would LOVE nothing more than some of my yarn savvy friends to knit, crochet...pearl one or whatever it is they do to make me one of these in every color of the rainbow! I LOVE my Snood! I got it in black knowing it would go with anything and I have three pairs of black boots so it would match them for sure. After wearing it all day yesterday though, it is pretty clear I will need more. More colors, more variety of lengths and textures too.
What a snood? It's a scarf-hood hybrid and from what I have seen and read...it is the MUST HAVE accessory here in England and I would imagine all cold weather places. I'm not sure it would be a huge hit in L.A. or Tampa but they do wear UGGS with their shorts so why not a Snood! What the heck...just get one, I really think you SNOOD!

I love your snood and living where I do, need one too. It must be quite a shock to be in the cold after being in Florida. You do look very stylish though!

So is that 'snood' such as 'oooo la la' or 'snood' such as 'nod?' It does look warm but it will mess up your hair. Then what? I'm like you, I don't wear hats either. I have a hood on my lightweight jacket & have never put it up over my head. In fact I wear the lightweight jacket in the winter because, well I don't like to look like an Eskimo.
That will help you from freezing your flip flops off!
I love your "winter" snood. As a Jewish woman I wear them all the time. You look great.
